Hi,

I'm Alison from Australia and have joined as I am starting my transition from male to female and wanted to chat with other like minded people about what it means to be trans and what experiences we have gone through.

I am in my 40's and am in the process of starting HRT in the next few weeks after visiting my doctor today.

I hope to learn from many of you along the way and make new friends.

Glad to hear there are local girls here, I am from Canberra.

While visiting my doctor today she passed on some great information which I plan to put together in a post at a later date which will hopefully help someone else down the track.
