Dear Jayne ... exactly correct...
Stroopwaffles are fairly soft anyway, but steaming them over a hot cup of coffee is part of their appeal.
Hugs,
Danielle

Oh now you are just teasing me. I need to go hunting for some stroopwaffles. Mmmmmm

If you ever get the chance to have freshly made stroopwaffle you won't be disappointed. They are also bigger than the coffee topper sized ones at approx 6" diameter.

Hugs,
Jayne

You sure you ladies are not pregnant? Pickles, olives and chocolate cake! Love them all, not sure about all at the same time though. But hey!  I'm open minded and willing to give it a try! [emoji16]

Have missed you all.

I love them all too....just not sure about the same time.  I am heading to the cabin for the week end and will have to try the mega s'more.

Danielle, I love love your avatar and photos.   You are so photogenic and pretty!

You probably ate them with out noticing them. Dairy take the burn out of hot food so if you ever eat something that burns your mouth up, take a mouth full of milk and hold it in your mouth.

I don't judge what others choose to eat. My sense of smell is far better than my sense of taste so I let others judge if a dish is good or bad. I cook by formula instead of taste. I may adjust a recipe but the only way I can get consistency in my cooking is working from a formula.

Danielle, that is quite a hike, sunrise to sunset in the Northern summer!  And with everyone's favorite dental hygienist, too!

This was a special experience for the two of you, I hope!

Hugs,
Michelle

@Michelle_P
Dear Michelle:
.... here at this time of year Sunrise is about 3:45AM ... I was still in bed  zzz zzz  zzz ....
I took the early morning house picture that I posted at around 6:00AM and #4 came to pick me up about an hour later.
The closer up mountain picture was taken around 8:00AM on the way to the trail head.
The sunset picture was taken at my house at 11:00PM....  Sunset here at this time of year is Midnight.

Yes, we had a great time, we took a lunch and drinks and we ate near a small lake up in the hills.   We got back to my house early enough that I could make dinner for the two of us...  and we had a wonderful evening.

Thank you for following and reading... and for your comments.
Hugs,
Danielle

Those pictures are stunning! So is the smile on that hiker! You must be having a wonderful time with your friend! After recalling my experiences of hiking in the mountains, I have one question - Bug Spray?

Thank you, Danielle, for sharing these wonderful pictures. Your smile outshines the stunning sunset. So happy to read about another lovely day you had with #4. She is truly a lucky girl!

I have to admit I am fascinated by all the scenery around you. To some degree, it does remind me of growing up close to the southern German Highlands. A somewhat meager landscape and even the trees are a match. We did not really have bears and moose. I am by far no hiker but looking at these pictures makes me want to look for my hiking boots.

Please keep sharing your pictures!

Hugs,

Sarah

Well Fine! You all can love the sunset picture. I loved the second picture of the tree covered hills with the mountains behind it. That is my kind of scenery.

If I'm not taking pictures of food then I snap ones of nice vistas and flowers. Once in awhile I will think of taking pictures of people but it's not often.
An yes @Alaskan Danielle you have a great smile though the one of you in the set looks more like a laugh. Still nice, Hun. Laughing = happy= good.

Hugs,
  Laurie
