To my very dear and wonderful followers:
Thank you all for your caring comments and your fun thoughts and ideas about voting for which suitor that I might chose.
            

I vote for all of them, I want to spend quality time with all of my suitors #3,  #4  &  #5 ... plus spending time with all of my good friends that I have made here in my town.

None of my suitors are pressing me for a decision about a committed relationship with a slight possible exception of #4... but she is so considerate and understanding of my feelings, there is not a problem there at all.

All of them are so kind and sweet, texting me, sending me cards, candy, and coffee and always express that they enjoy my company and like to go on outings and dates with me.  I return with my own favors and offerings of texts, cards, cookies, etc.

I have not made any statements of commitment even in my weak "touchy-feely" evening moments with them and they have not asked for me to do that either....

Because this is such a small town and they all know each other, I am always aware that I have to be so very careful... as I have stated many times I do not ever want hard feelings between me and any of them.... 

I am a realist however... I am certainly expecting at some time in the uncertain future that I may indeed be involved in a committed relationship, most likely here in my little town, but I am not at that point yet.... and again, my suitors are not pressing me for that either.

Danielle you have fit in so well with your community in Alaska and that is great.  But its because of who you are.  We can certainly see it from our perspective.  Who wouldn't want to hang out with you? 

I understand at some point someone's heart may be bruised and you will do your best to make it kindly.  For now just enjoy yourself.  You're living a life many of us missed out on which is why we're so enthralled.  Thank you for sharing with us.

Uh, are you going to spell it out or are you going to make my imagination do all the dirty work? You need to clarify Unconventional because I was in the NAVY and you probably know what that did to young men during their formative years.

I will indeed follow my heart but my mind right now tells me to continue to take it slow and careful...
but not so slow that I miss out on an opportunity to find lasting happiness.

It is a delicate balance and I am thinking not only of myself but of those that I consider dear to me.

You nailed it in the first part of your sentence above, which is what I thought you were alluding to. I never thought of the other items you mentioned nor engaged in them in any way; never was into those sorts of things.

My randy days are long past me and my interests. Back then, mine weren't even that bad. Was pretty conventional and liked to romp with nice women when they were available. A lot depended on the port of call. Spain and Portugal were my favorites, though I did spend a lot of time in Ireland and mostly Japan, which is where I met and married my first wife. That's a long and sordid story unto itself, which I have partially addressed somewhere on this site. One of these days I'll post the whole thing and totally destroy any positive feelings anyone has towards me. It's the price I'm willing to pay for what I did and didn't do to and for her. The only thing she did wrong was to marry me.

Sit back with that Pickle Popcorn and watch the show. It's long running and is getting near its climax (sorry, no pun intended); at least that's my take on it after discussing it over tea leaves, tarot cards and a fortune cookie I swiped from a Chinese restaurant this morning. Actually, I didn't swipe it, someone dropped it on the floor and before they could pick it up I grabbed it and ate it. Forgot to read the fortune first so now I'll never know. That darn cookie left a nasty after taste ... and a before taste as well.

Careful what you do with stuff you pick up from the floor.

I fully agree Danielle, after all you are a lady with decorum. As I said previously I will like any decision you make as for me it seems that you are moving on in life and becoming more of your 'whole', if you understand. I can not even try to understand your dilemma, but I wish I had it to tug at my heart strings..

In the photos that I post about my suitors and friends here in my small town, I purposely fuzz out their faces....  I don't want to cause any undue stress for any of them.   
Even though I am well accepted here, I don't want photos floating around showing who I am out and about with.
   
Plus, as we all are aware, there is much more to relationships, friendly or romantic, than just the person's appearance... for me, it is almost all about personality and compatible chemistry. 
Of course it is also nice if the person is easy on the eyes.

  It's been awhile since I wrote a comment here, (I've been a bit distracted) but I have tried to keep an eye on your adventures.
  Yep, from bear hunting with #4 in the wild outback, when you go walkabout. to the fancy dress balls with , not so shy) #3 and cookies and cream with the coffee maker #5. See? I've been keeping up. Btw you wouldn't have one of the nice thick elk  (or was it moose) steaks hot off the barbie with a nice grill char and still no more done than medium rare for me would you?  If you can include some corn on the cob with lots of butter that would be nice also.
   And about that voting thing, well let's add things up... if you add #3 and #5 you would have eight too many so let's just divide the two of them again and there you have it.... #4  Yep, she's the one!!  Oh you can go ahead and enjoy the company of all three, ( one at a time mind you ), but when it is all said and done your sweetie is #4 no doubt about it. All the signs are there and everyone knows I never miss any signs when it comes to a'more. Just ask Michelle.
  And as for that small community you have become ensconced in, Well hon, you are , and have not been an outsider for a long time. Everyone knew you were one of the townsfolk long before you did. You are one of them that is plain as day. Just count your blessings pretty little lady and enjoy your pioneer woman life. You have a lot of time yet before you need to settle down with your loved one. No one is hurrying you to adopt that barefoot in the kitchen life yet. Heck, it's the 21st century, girl!, you can wear slippers now days. I hope you have one of the frilly aprons to keep your clothes nice. (I still haven't got one. Sad I know)
