Since this seems to have become the cookie thread, here's what I did yesterday. Nothing fancy but omm nomm nomm.

Nestle's Toll House cookies with added dark chocolate chips.

Going in.


First batch cooling.


The all-important quality control testing.


I also put together a fruit mix for a party.

I did NOT find a recipe for dill pickle cookies but about 7 months ago, our lovely member @Jessica  posted
a recipe for Dill Pickle Soup on the following post:

I have made it per Jessica's recipe and it is surprisingly good.  I would suggest that you read all the comments on the above mentioned thread "Nutrition for transgender women on HRT"

Yes I do remember seeing it on several forms and you and I having several conversations about it I just thought the

"estrogen a pickles worst nightmare"

was a funny comment and I am trying to cut down on the pickles because I was told I have high cholesterol and 6 months to get it in control or they will put me on medicine to get it in control I don't want to take another medicine

You are correct, it seems that lately that my thread and also the the thread of @Michelle_P seems to be the current "Cookie Threads"

Thank you for posting your delicious pictures of your Chocolate Chip Cookies (with added Dark Chocolate Chips)
... and also your Fruit Salad...   I love Fruit Salads, a lighter addition to all the rich and calorie laden foods that we eat this time of year.

Like you do, I always add much more chocolate chips than the recipe calls for... I also add more nuts as well.
I loved your method of quality control testing...  when I do that, it is not just one cookie that I test, for me it is at least 3 or 4 just warm out of the oven.   YUMMY !!!

I have the day off today so I am busy making Cinnamon Rolls and Dinner Rolls.   
I will post some photos later if time permits.

made some ginger snaps(cookies) but put dark treacle in as dint have any golden , then 1/2 coated them in dark choc . Cinnamon ones tomorrow morning so I can make gift plates up for kids.

Dear Davina...
I love ginger snaps...  I like the dark molasses better than the lighter molasses, but both are very good for sure.
Coating them in dark chocolate is a wonderful thing to do... everything tastes better with chocolate on it!!!

Next up are your Cinnamon cookies....  mmm, mmm good.   I love making gift plates with my baked goods, usually very much appreciated by all that receive them.  Much better than store-bought.

Thanks for posting, but where are the pictures???  I am certain that you are aware that there is an important RULE about posting pictures when talking about food and treats that you cook and bake.

As promised, I have some pictures of the Cinnamon Rolls that I made today.
Lots of Cinnamon, Raisins and Chopped Walnuts.   On half of them I frosted them with a Butter Cream Frosting.   I made 3 dozen, (6 cake pans full)
I will give most of them away to my friends as my Christmas gifts.
