Am I doing something wrong?

I really should've came here before I did anything, but I guess it's better late than never.

I've been taking ProEstro supplements for about three months, and have recently (like within the past week or two now) been taking Swanson's Ovarian Glandular, but haven't noticed any results at all, is there something I'm missing ... or something I'm doing wrong? Should I just wait a little longer? Is three months actually not enough time despite it SEEMING like it's the norm?

It's actually worrying me a bit, so at this point I'm just looking for answers.
Trying to get by.

It's generally not a good idea to self medicate, because everyone's bodies are different.  Do trans people use proestro supplements?  I'm new to a lot of this stuff myself, so I have no idea.

Unless it's a real hormone, you're wasting your money.

If you are going to continue then please discuss it with a doctor. As said you may just be wasting your money I started self medicating and I don't recommend any follow that path. I'm so much happier and content on the proper meds

I haven't looked at those specific products but the ones I have looked at are overpriced scams. I checked your location and you appear to lived in a city where  there are doctors treating transgender patients. You will find that medical treatment is safer, more effective and probably not be that expensive compared to the products your using.

I tried Swanson products and the products with letters not to be mentioned. None of these worked and none are guaranteed. Stick with the proper meds to reduce T and the increase E all with the help of a doctor. My meds under health care cost me less than $40.00 a month and those other products were $100 plus a month. Didn't make sense to me.

In fact if you have have way decent insurance it is probably significantly cheaper.

My insurance give me a months supply of Estradiol for About $1 compared to the   herbal stuff that you can buy online for at least 10x that much.  Much better bang for your buck.

My wife shared with me a "supplement" that she had, which was a lotion of some type, I think... it said it was "natural progesterone using sweet potatoes" or something along those lines.  I haven't started hrt yet (hopefully within the next month) and so I couldn't pass up the opportunity... even if it probably didn't do anything.

One thing about plant based phytoestrogens and phytoprogesterones is they can over load and shut down the bodies receptors then the proper HRT can't work and you need time off to clear your system. I am not a medical professional and just passing on what I have read and been told
