I was going cold turkey so I've been reading some of Julia1996's old posts.  Perhaps because of her intelligence, her prolific posting and her helpful advice and support for any members who need it, not to mention her encyclopedic knowledge of probably every womanly skill that we aspire to, it is easy to forget that she is only just starting adult life and has not even been a member of Susan's Place for all that long.  Even if she never posted anything again, there would still be a wonderful legacy of her wisdom and humour.

Technically, I am a Newbie, although as a guest and sometime member I have been a fan of her posts during most of her membership.  It is obvious that she is deservedly one of the most beloved members of Susan's Place.  Julia will be having GCS within weeks and there must be so much going on in her mind, in her life, and in the lives of her immediate family.  I thought that this might be a good time to start a thread for members wanting to wish her well and to thank her for helping and cheering us up.

Thank you, Julia, for your inimitable wit and wisdom, for frankly sharing your experiences and feelings, and for being there for other members.  I wish you well in your coming GCS and all of your future life.

Thank you @Julia1996 for having some of the most interesting and engaging threads here at Susan's Place!  We all wish you success with your GRS and your young life.  You are an inspiration to especially the young members that need help that you are so keenly knowledgeable.

We love you, Jessica

Julia I wish you all my best in your upcoming surgery, recovery and life.  I've looked forward to and read your posts and replies from before I was even a member here.  You are one wonderful woman!  BTW: You're going to love it on the "other side!"

She really needs to start a fanclub, IMO.

I too have enjoyed Julia's input into Susan's.
I find myself enthusiastically jumping to anything new she has to say.
She has definitely won the hearts of many of us here with her honest, heart-felt words.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that's been carried along in the raft that she captains so beautifully.
I wish you all the best in life Julia and with your upcoming renovations.
May love, luck and fortune smile upon you, beautiful woman.

And say G'day to Tristan, from a sandgroper!
Glad there's an Aussie keeping an eye on that girl.

Love,
Chaerlie. Xx

I wondered where she'd got to.
