Does anyone else get a crazy high from bioidentical progesterone?

I get an extreme high from my <not allowed> bioidentical progesterone every night. I feel like the whole world is spinning and I have no control over my movements. It's like I'm very, very drunk without the upset stomach and flushed face.
I made the mistake of taking progesterone before going out in the city (I live in a large east coast city where everyone takes the subway and walks and the streets are congested) and I end up almost getting hit by cars because that's how disoriented I get.

Does anyone else get this and is it normal?

Ha! Delighted I'm not the only one who had weird effects, but mine is a little different. It was worse for me when I first started. I took it at night because I'd heard it can make you drowsy, and I woke 2 hrs later feeling very weird. Analyzing it, I decided it was like my senses were hyper activated. Every sound, skin sensation, movement...it was pretty disorienting. If I sat up, it wasn't so bad, but lying down and relaxing made it worse. It seems to be getting better now. I think taking it orally made it worse, as well. I don't do that anymore and I don't take it at night. No problems now.

Honestly thought I was the only one, it feels like I am drunk sometimes.  Then other times it does nothing.  Mostly it helps me sleep, as about 1 1/2 hours after I take it the irresistible urge to sleep & I feel like I could trip over myself & fall in bed comes.  Be careful on it. Powerful mojo lol.

All I got from progesterone was side effects.  About an hour after I took it, I'd start to get extremely dizzy and tired.  So I usually took it before bed.  Unfortunately, although it helped me getting to sleep, it seemed to wake me up around four hours later and made it extremely difficult to get back to sleep.   It also made me sweat a lot, which wasn't fun.

I didn't notice any improvement in my skin, hair, mood, boobs or anything else,  so, I stopped taking it.

It takes about an hour, and I get really dizzy from it, like I'm about to fall asleep. I go lie down when it hits me now - even sitting doesn't feel safe. I feel like I'm about to fall out of the chair.

Before I worked out what it was I occasionally took it before going out for a walk and I'd have to stop and sit down. Got me worried for a while. I thought there might be something wrong me me. I got enough problems without more.

SAME. I loved getting high from it though.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

I hate it. Same with opiates, I can't understand how people can do it recreationally.

I don't like the effects, I just note that I get them. Personally I'd rather just lie down pleasantly and fall asleep gently then feeling like "If I don't go to bed soon I'm going to fall on my face" kinda thing.  Never been drunk, don't smoke, and I don't do drugs.  Life for me is much happier without it.

I take it morning and night. I have been having dizzy spells from time to time, but I can't say for certain that the Progesterone is the cause. I have not noticed any other effects.
