I just delivered this message in another thread and the OP didn't seem to like it much, but I think it will be better suited to you.

The answer is YES, it definitely can work! As you've said, sexuality is different than gender, you're bi anyway, and your super supportive of your partner! This will be a journey for the both of you and open and honest communication is really key. Go to a therapist if you haven't already both for couples therapy and for gender therapy.

My wife and I have been dating for 11 years, married for 3 years,and transitioning 1 year.  :)
