Hello everyone!

In my previous post I mentioned how I was frustrated with the fibrin not falling off as it was supposed to and I now have to take 3 sitz baths a day instead of 2. Well only 2-3 days later and wow the difference is amazing!! I'm not going to lie i still have some but its much less thick then it was. I cut up a roll of paper towel into little squares and whenever it felt or looked wet I dabbed it and would fan  my "kitten" to keep it dry!!

I've been feeling down about this recovery especially since my friends who have had the surgery at the same time are getting back to their normal lives and are healing exceptionally while I'm left in the dust. But now I'm beyond happy now I can put this fibrin issue behind me. Dr.Brassards clinic said as long as its not building up its normal, thank god!!

On a side note this might be a bit TMI but for the past two months I would trim my kitten with scissors because the razor felt extremely weird since the skin was numb. But today I totally shaved with a razor and am so beyond happy with what I saw, its looking like a normal (but still puffy) kitten!! I still have one month of recovery to go until I go back to work but this recent change of events have made me so happy and hopeful in this bleak recovery!

Thanks so much
Anja
