I do not know the names for these tops, but I purchased the following two tops about 15 years ago in the U.S. The left was from a discount store called Marshall at ca. US$20, and the right was from Walmart at US$ 1.00. They are v-neck, striped, semi-transparent knit.

I searched the internet to find similar ones, but difficult to find. Facebook friends said to me that they are called 'see-through', which is apparently Japlish.

After searching using the new key workd 'see-through', I could find and order the following 2 items.

The price is ca. US$9 and $5. I like the left one, but the size is too small, but I ordered anyway as I sometimes wear size 'S' tops.

Any internet store where I can find similar ones?

Sheer blouse or see through top gives me a pile of hits when I google it. So many hits that it gives me a problem trying to find something. In the late 1960s there was a period of time where high fashion was a mini skirt, a sheer top with an optional bra. Naturally it drew the attention of many male however the combination was short lived. The mini skirt stayed but the sheer blouse would only be worn with something underneath it. It seems to me that there was another name for the sheer blouse however I am unable to remember it or find it with google.

Oh. Thanks for the brief history of fashion. I googled "sheer knit striped sweater" to see some similar items.

Barbie, try Semi sheer tops.  https://www.google.com/search?q=semi+sheer+tops&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi-weHDt43cAhVBXK0KHWaXCswQsAQINA&biw=1600&bih=894#imgrc=BKeTc_JwacYNYM:

Sheer and semi sheer tops are beautiful. Wish they were more acceptable for men in the US as sheer is for men in some of the warmer countries.  Good Luck!
