So I got top surgery almost 3 weeks ago now and the only thing that is really hindering my movement are the 2 sites (both armpit areas) where I got liposuction. There are hard spots throughout the lipo sites that pull and are quite painful if I raise my arms too high :/
You guys have and advice or tips to help? Or anyone else experienced the same thing? I've been massaging both the lipo areas and scars/incisions once the tape came off at 2 weeks. I figured the scars would hurt more but boy was I wrong! The lipo has hard area that shoot sharp pain when massaged.

It's normal. Don't be raising your arms high over your head for at least a couple more weeks if it hurts. If you do massage it, don't do it hard. 3 weeks is early days

Was about 2 months before I could comfortably put my arms up and grab the top of a doorframe, for example, without serious tension
