"After more than two decades of rock, goth and new wave dancing, the Old Town Scottsdale club Anderson's Fifth Estate is reinventing itself tonight as a gay bar, Forbidden.
"Times change," said Tom Anderson, owner of the 5,500 square-foot club, "and it's time to change."
The change is significant because it comes after a yearlong feud between Anderson and a transgender woman was resolved in November when Anderson set up a single-stall restroom available to all patrons."
