I don't have many pics of me as a kid. My dad has them and won't let go of them. But anyways, I got a bunch of photos from my uncle. I found myself in one pic. I was 6 years old, in 1983. Not much has changed besides the length of my hair. The other photo is when I'm 22 years old, 1999, and the one to the right is from this spring.

Do you have photos from when you were children or young?

I found a couple of more pics. But I do grimages on those. The life of Tourette's. When I knew someone took a pic I could not help myself. I stuck out my tounge or did something else to ruin the pic.

Goalie, eh? I played goalie, but 20+ years before. I did stand up style, like John Davidson. It's the best game. I used to play without a mask in pickup games on frozen lakes and roller hockey at times. Masks sucked. This was before the birdcages. If the equipment wasn't so expensive, I'd take it up again. It's what got me out of it. I grew 5" one summer.

These are from 1980 - 1983, approximately. In that picture where I pose, you cannot see it very well in scanned version, but the original shows quite well, that I´ve used make-up myself, first times  :) Two eye-brows on left side  ;D

Yes. I was a goalie. I'm happy I had the birdcage. Got the puck in my face a couple of times, I was happy to be protected. And one time the goal fell over me and I got stuck like a dying fish with my head trapped under the top bar. Hahaha.

There's no date on this picture but I'm guessing it was taken somewhere around 1960 ish? I have a couple of others where I'm a year and probably two years older playing with the same baby. Most amazing to me is at now that I'm 63 years old, although tattered, mostly hairless and with a couple of missing fingers, I still have this dolly! None of the Barbies I got when I was older survived although I know when I was in high school, I still had a few tucked away in a storage box somewhere.

I have a few first and second grade school photos preserved too only to show how miserable and unhappy I was which are almost hard for me to look at but most of the pictures after that from my childhood until I was 18 no longer exist.

Even though I was "passing" at 16 and started HRT at 17, I could not complete social transition until I got out of high school in 1973. My mom and I sat down one day shortly after that and went through boxes of all of her photos and we sorted out all my "boy" pictures and stuffed them into big manila envelopes. When she died about 7 years later, my step-dad gave me all her albums and boxes of photographs but the manila envelopes were no where to be seen.

I have a few pictures up until I was 8 or maybe 9 but none after that until I was 18 and living fully as a girl. I hated them then but now I would love to have some pictures of my transition years.

Lisa K -> Nice that you got to keep your dolls. I know the feeling about the photos. My dad won't let go of them. Don't know how many are left and what pics he has. We don't get along very well. I've asked for them but have stopped now. He does not want my mom (divorced 25 years ago) to have any memories. Some people...

Allison -> cute kid. You can't be very old in that picture.
