Hi all, I'm back for another game of 20 questions lol. I can't find a clear answer 0n how feminine a man's body becomes when on HRT. For example I took photos in dress just to see and I'm clearly will a man (even with badded bra). I'm pre HRT.  So do transwoman bodies change enough for it to look like a woman's body? Obviously I'm aware of fat distribution and breast growth. If so ehat actuallu makrs the body look distinguishably fenale rather than male. Im sure there's others who want to know this too. Just curious

@TsukiCat  I would like to suggest that you take some time, maybe a lot of time, and look over the other postings and threads here on the forums...  also there are several threads dealing with "before and after" pictures and testimonials from early on transition all the way to later transition where the member has gone full time.

Again, take some of your Forums time to look around the various members threads and read what they have to say.

In conclusion, HRT will most likely affect your body differently than anyone else's.  Some will experience more significant changes more quickly and some others will experience less significant changes at a slower rate.  It is entirely up to you own unique body.   Usually patience is required, nothing happens very fast with HRT.... but changes will happen.

Wishing you well....
Danielle

Hun, this sounds like a YMMV type of thing.

I am not on HRT yet, either, but I think if you're talking about strictly photos, plenty of girls use weird tricks to look more 'feminine' even when they may not be the most hour-glass or whatever out there. And as others have said, women come in so many different shapes and sizes.

But in RLE, it's going to come down to more than just appearance, I think.  Basically, if you 'present' as female, people don't need to question or pry any further than that. Like with dress, mannerisms, voice, etc.

I recently got asked by this guy at one of my jobs the other day if I play volleyball. It was a weird question, and I'm not used to those quite yet. But after asking him a bit more about it, my build wasn't quite femme for obvious reasons, but I presented as female in all other aspects, so he didn't question if I was a girl or not, just felt like I had the build of a volleyball player.
Looking to make and keep friends! Spreading the love, now that I can truly love myself!

Obviously your mileage may vary, here is me from the morning after my first hrt dose, and also this morning, about a week shy of 11 months hrt, I was 34 when I started. My waist came in a lot and my limbs have gotten a lot scrawnier. This is part of a project I'm doing to make a transition gif, though there are some gaps due to travel.

Keep in mind these pictures are first thing in the morning so I usually don't look overly happy. Also I changed cameras since the first one was a little fuzzy as you an see.

HRT effects can go from being dramatic (A lot of fat redistribution and breast growth) to essentially only having softer skin and eventually being sterile...

On average there tends to be a correlation between age one starts HRT and results, with younger being better... BUT that is FAR from universal... Some older get fantastic results and some younger not is much...

Definitely a YMMV type of thing... the only way to know for sure (well unless one is pre-puberty or still growing) is to do it.

If you are still growing HRT can affect your skeleton, but once you reach physical maturity that will not change.

A timeline over about 9 months. I'm pretty happy with how far hrt alone has taken me. I started at 43 so didn't expect the level of results I have over such a short time.

On my last holiday weekend I passed for female in a bikini.  I had quite the conversation about my children with an older woman while in a swimming pool.  She thought I was cis female.

I did the same thing a week ago. It felt.. surreal... but really good at the same time.

I kind of expected the aggressive boob growth from just looking at the women in my family.
But what has pleasantly surprised me tho is the changes to my hips and thighs which has become increasingly noticeable at the 2 year mark.

YMMV.
