Haven't seen my GP since telling him I was transgender.
Think he will see a difference?

Hmmmm, could be....
What will he call me?  Jess?  It's on my chart.
Will he notice my perfect nails?
Will he do a breast exam?!?
What shirt to wear...what shoes!

Oh, this is the very first time I have heard the term "coinkydink" 
..... so I had to look it up.
"coiinkidink (noun) : a way to say coincidence, but more fun"

By the way, I have already had 2 breast exams and also a mammogram....
Mammograms are sometimes referred to by some cis-women as "titty-squishers" for very good reason...
...another right of passage for being female.

Regarding your doctor, whatever makes you feel comfortable... completely your choice.   I started out with a female GP and female Endo before I moved up here and went full-time... it was always a little strange having a woman give me a prostate exam and one time she check a lump on one of my testicles....
...but these doctors, man or woman, have seen it all.

Since I moved up here as a full-time woman, I am presently seeing a male GP and a male Endo...   I have completely grown out of my embarrassment.   So, bottom line, it is all about your preference and your comfort level. 

Please keep us posted about your doctor's visit and whatever else.... your followers are a curious bunch and we want to know!!!

Oh, are you going to be wearing panties and a bra at you doctor's visit?

I'm thinking I may seek out a female doctor, not sure if the cursory examination given is up to what a woman would give a woman.  He did the basics, like every other yearly physical he has given, adding in pertinent questions on my transition and the effects of my medications.
The breast exam I felt was lacking in that it was more of a visual inspection, but this was my first time as Jess with him.  His nurse was far more respectful of pronouns and name than he was.  I told him call me Jess.  He did, mixed in with a lot of he and him as he talked to his nurse.

Otherwise, excellent health 🌸🌸🌸 Jess

I'm thinking I may seek out a female doctor, not sure if the cursory examination given is up to what a woman would give a woman.  He did the basics, like every other yearly physical he has given, adding in pertinent questions on my transition and the effects of my medications.

Dear Jess:  Frankly I have found that my male GP and my male Endo are very attentive and seem to do thorough exams.  I have had 2 breast exams and the first one was fairly thorough but it was the second one that did involve more looking, comparing, and more feeling for irregularities and that is when he referred me to the mammogram clinic.   

Again, there are good and not so good male doctors and there are good and not so good female doctors.... so ask around, and go to whichever doctor of whichever sex you feel most at ease with...   
Every patient and every doctor will interface differently with each other... sometimes with more of a connection and sometimes with less, so let your personal preference help you to decide.

So, help me understand something...  your member name is Jessica... obviously a female name, but also Jess is an obviously female name, so I am finally getting the picture that you prefer to be call Jess....   OK, I get it... from now on I will address you as Jess!!!
