It is hot hot hot in Sweden. It's been hot for weeks. We have about 50 wild fires. People are evacuated from small villages and summer houses near the fires.

We have not had rain since....June?? We usually have rain about 50% of the days.

Besides that it sucks not being able to bind for weeks and weeks, the weather is crazy and that scares me a bit.

32C is usually the temperature in august, SOME summers. The temperature is 10 degrees too high.

Don't forget to have salt, not just water, in the heat. I've bought lots of chips and popcorn to the kids.

The heat is different there and over +30 degrees of celcius is very hot.

Here in Bangkok it feels different even when the temperature can be +35 degrees of celcius, it doesn´t feel so scorching than in Scandinavia.

It is humid and hot. I hate it. I'd rather have -30. You can protect yourself from the cold. Now I just sit here without moving an the sweat pour down my face.

We don't have AC. Never had use of it. We have ceiling fans. 3 of them.

We don't need heat here. AC is pretty much mandatory. I've been here 6 years and I'm still not used to it.

Tony,

I saw that on the news.  When you're not used to it, excessive heat can be just miserable.  Global warming?  Normal macro weather patterns or cycles?  We're having some pretty unseasonably hot weather and drought all over the world.

It's a bit cooler outside. Got some clouds coming in. Atleast I hope they are clouds and not smoke from the fires. Two fires close to my home where I used to walk the dog.

Still 28C. 30C indoors from the sun heating up the apartment all day. We have the blinds down.

I'm gonna sit on my cool 28 degrees balcony for a while. Haha it feels cold.

Tony. My breasts are bigger than I ever envisioned. No surgery. So sometimes when I leave the house I put on a binder. It is an absolute frustration trying to get it on a hot glowing body.  Men sweat, Ladies glow.

It reminds me of the summer of 1988 here where it was hot and dry for about six weeks. Although to be fair here it's not lasted more than three as yet where I am. I remember summers being more like this as a kid and that they'd got more erratic and wet as the decades went on. Most people here seem to be enjoying it. Last year we probably got a week in total of "sun" and the year before that even less.

I noticed I've adapted to the weather quite well. Probably because I'm more relaxed.

It got to 107° here today, with higher temperatures on the way for the next few days. The only consolation is that we have low humidity at under 10% when it's that hot. I would love to have 89° temperatures for a while.

I'm use too and enjoy heat but it must be insufferable for those who are not use to it, I can't abide the cold. I was talking to Sephirah the other day and she is melting in the UK. I was complaining as I was shivering with cold at 15C and had my heavy winter clothes on.

Unfortunately I think that climate change is going to cause a lot of effects that may be devastating very quickly.

Hi Tony,
Sweden has very good beer. Cold beer has a fantastic cooling effect!
Cheers, Kirsten.

Been in arizona 6 years now. I get whacked about the heat when it gets over 110. If I'm hiking, I really don't like to do it much above 90. I just haven't acclimated fully and the interesting thing is since losing 145lbs, I it hasn't gotten better. I'm a little more sensitive to cold, but 32f isn't a problem whereas natives have the parkhas on. At least humidity isn't bad here at all. Last year there were some extreme athletes that hiked a local mountain when it was 110. A couple of them took a permanent sun nap. They weren't even 30 years old. If I need to do something outside, I do it early.
