consultation with mr. fenton for srs

So the day has finally arrived!!!! Tomorrow i have my consultation for srs/gcs with oliver fenton, finally!!!! 4 years i waited.

So from now ill post as much as possible to this subject, as there isn't much on mr fenton,

While there are some minor differences in techniques between surgeons, depth is typically a function of the amount of donor material and the quality of it.

It went really well, yea he does it different to the other surgeons. He  takes alot of the scrotum skin including penile skin to make the vagina. And he fixes it inside behind the bladder, hence why he never had a case of prolapsevin 28 years. He creates the outside lips, not always the inside lips as he needs more skin , but he showed bme pictures of biological female anatomy, some have hardly visible inside lips, some have big flaps hanging out. So it does not bother me if i get them.

Also he leaves catheter in two weeks for the swelling to go down so u dont spray pee.
And you start dialating after 4-6 weeks. He explained why. No depth gets lost in that time. But i forgot why as it was so much info.
And then u dilate 2x a day.

Showed me pictures of results of his work and during surgery. Its all very good. And im not just after a functioning vagina. Also needs to look aesthetic.

He was very happy that i came prepared and had all my hair removal done as he said most are lazy and wait till they get told.

So im good to go. Ill get my appointment by post he said, his secretary does that. But most likely surgery will be October/november time. But he also put me on the cancelation list so i can be seen as quick as in 4 weeks time in that case. So all good im prepared so im just waiting now.

Wonderful news and interesting about the method to avoid prolapse - something for me to ask my intended surgeon about.

Thx megan, he explained to me why dialating after 4 weeks aswel. It was cause of scar tissue hardening if starting to early and hardening the inside canal. It stays strechyer if starting later. And his patients havent lost depth, just slightly tighter to start with but streches again. But ill keep posting as time goes by xxx
