A toasted bagel, smoked salmon, and Philadelphia cream cheese.  When I studied engineering I also learned that Kraft made the best cream cheese for bagels and lox.

I am invited to a Games of Thrones party tonight and ribs will be served!

Linde,

How was the party and the ribs?

Grilled Italian sausage and beer brats with beer, sauteed onions and sauerkraut, tater tots and mac and cheese. Yeah- not very healthy, but very satisfying.

Chrissy,
They always make outstanding, hand rubbed ribs.
I still don't know what to think about the Game of Thrones, I never was a fan of it, and it has not gotten better over the years.
But watching it got m a nice serving of delicious ribs!  And my dog got a pack of bones (and some ribs, the hostes is in "love" with my dog)

I am glad you enjoyed the ribs.  I am guessing they were baby back ribs?

I never watched Game of Thrones.  I thought it was a game and maybe it also is a game, as its name sounds like a game!  It even has the word "Game" in its name!

Hugs,

Chrissy

No, it is not a game, it is some kind of epic saga on a fantasy planet with seven kingdoms, and they are fighting against each other about who is the king of the all.  That is the game in the title.
That thing is running for 8 years now, and this was the final episode.  For me it was kind like one of the stories about knights and kings I loved as a kid, the only difference here was that they show a lot of uncovered boobs and some steamy get together of individuals.
Just what the average American viewer seems to like, a mixture of heroes and soft porn!

And yes, the ribs were baby backs, nicely hand rubbed and not much barbecue sauce on (which very often kills all the taste)

I cooked a can of sweet peas.  After cooking, I put in a handful of mozzarella cheeses and stirred.
The shredded cheese melted.

This was a fabulous meal creation!

With as much as I like peas in macaroni and cheese I could see peas and cheese being pretty great.

I threw some kale, some broccoli, some Brussels sprouts, carrots and beans into the crock pot, put some canned hm with it, and let it cook for hours.  It is now some kind of delicious tasting veggie stew, which I will have for supper, and probably fro breakfast.
I don't like cereals or other cattle/horse food for breakfast, and nothing sweet either!

7:30PM right now.....Having a late dinner....  got out the grill and going to grill some hamburgers....  temps are warm, in the high 60's and sunny and dry this evening.  Generally with the long days this time of year, sunset tonight after 11;30PM, the evenings can be warmer than mid day.  Tomorrow morning sunrise is around 4:00AM and it might rain tomorrow.
