Last Friday, I went to my cardiologist for my regular 6 months visit after my heart attack. Every time I go, there seems to a different nurse. Last week, nurse was Oriental lady. She was very nice and polite till she asked me to take my shirt off and started to place those stickies.
My breast are growing nicely and it is now almost C size. I was not wearing a bra and she seems to be shocked and she did not want to touch me. Or rather lift my boobs to place the sticky under my breast.
She kept asking me if I was uncomfortable even though I can clearly see that she was not.

@Anna    Oh my, what a story.  Have you changed your name and gender records with your doctor, or is everything still in the male mode??  Were you correctly gendered when greeted at the front desk??

I bet that nurse was shocked!!!!...  how did you feel about the entire thing?   Did  you end up seeing your doctor too?  How did that go.

I have not changed my name and my gender is still listed as male but even though my breast are growing and look fem, people still recognize me as male. Only my doctors know that I am TG.

I never experienced this but I changed all legal ID and accounts three months after starting HRT.

I'm surprised a medical professional was unprepared for the fact not everyone on the planet is identical or fits exactly into a standard definition.  If this was just her facial expression or body language and she got the job done I wouldn't worry about it.  If the nurse was unable to function as a professional, at that point I'd ask for someone that can.

The closest I have ever been to that situation is the occasional "Oh!" when the nurse sees my lacy panties. They are always very professional about it all.
