I took estradiol and spironolactone for about eight years (with a few breaks of a couple months here and there) for my transition, and all went well.  I haven't taken either medication in 7 or 8 months since moving away from my prescribing doctor.  When I've stopped hrt in the past my urine scent went from smelling female to smelling male.  This time it hasn't.  I can't afford to get my bloodwork done, but does anyone have any ideas whats going on?  I don't seem to be backsliding or anything, no changes in thoughts or moods or body/face hair or anything....could I be producing my own estrogen now?
