So I weighed my self today and I weigh about 10 pounds more now than what I considered a healthy weight when I was pre-HRT.  But should I be worried?  I mean my boobs alone probably weigh about 3 pounds.  Plus I have extra junk in the trunk and my hips and thighs have filled out nicely to a feminine shape.  I know I'm a little fleshier, but I am loving the new places that all the extra weight has settled.

Nah don't be worried. It's probably just your body reacting to the HTR. If it really does worry you a lot you can just jog a few blocks every day to make it go back down.

Well if your really worried about it you could do some some mild exercises to help you lose a few pounds afterwards you can lighten the workout so that you maintain your perfect weight but I do know while on hormones you can experience weight gain and redistribution of it as well.

If you can't accept yourself,  how can you expect others to accept you?

It can be an issue. Some doctors won't do GCS if your BMI is above a certain number. This is because fat interferes with producing the proper appearance. A fair number of our members have had to lose a good deal of weight to meet the surgeons guidelines so if you want the maximum choice of surgeons, keep your weight under control.

Okay now this brings up the question is it the height to weight ratio or is it just weight in general

Normally they work of the height to weight ration which I know isn't always accurate. If you think your the exception, then discuss it with your surgeon but if your pretty sure you putting on fat, the doctor isn't likely to make an exception.

Just got my levels checked and I've basically had pregnancy levels of estrogen for the last year with only trace amount of Testosterone on Estrogen-Only HRT.

That certainly explains the weight gain.
