Megan.

Just acquired myself a push scooter to get to/from home-station-office on my commute.

Aside from being the only ~6ft trans person scooting around my small town (did someone say blend-in? [emoji23]), I'm wondering why I waited until my 40's to do this, so.... much... fun [emoji16]

That is all. X

So much fun! I want one, I wonder how far I can go on a scooter instead of my morning walk?

My steed and I made it to work unscathed. But he/it/she needs a name, I'm taking suggestions! [emoji3]

looks like way to much fun, I need one of these in my life.
Maybe not the best mode of transport for staying in stealth mode though:)

Yes to the V8 [emoji48], side pipes ofc!

I like Carrie, either after our dearly departed Leia, or more fittingly for the amount of blood likely to be lost in its use [emoji51]

I like this approach - be weird for some quite different reason, not because you are trans!

Yeah - me too!  Actually, when I saw the title my brain said, "uh oooo...what could THIS be about."  LOL

And do wear a helmet.  I know it messes the hair but so does surgery after a traumatic brain injury post fall.

Nice scooter Megan.
I notice it is called a Pro Air. Are you planning to do tricks on your commute?

Yes mum(s) I should be wearing my helmet (always do on my bike). I'm keeping off of roads, so feel quite safe.

It works well for the commute; a little awkward (even folded) on the tube/underground, but manageable.

Apologies to all who were expecting something either more automotive or raunchier [emoji23]

Yes, I also vote for careful. My daughter suffered a head injury in college when hers crashed for an unknown reason -- maybe it hit a rock or a crack in the sidewalk. In my trail running experience, it's never the thing I saw coming, it's the thing I didn't notice...  Enjoy (carefully)!
If so, then why not?
