Okay, I've heard of the weight distribution changing once on HRT, and I have for 4 months  :embarrassed: I didn't think it would happen this fast, but what do you (all) think?

1-  My tummy seems to have dropped, and I have gone from a size 8 panty to a definite size 9  :o.  The size 8 is DEFINITELY too small now.

2-  This is really strange (I think).  I have definite breast growth, and can feel the nodules under my nipples.  My breasts are probably barely an AA or a little larger.  I normally wear a 38 band size.  My girlfriend wears a 34 b, but frequently lets me try on her bras.  Though they are a little tight, I have no problem putting one on.  That is, until now.  It's been about 2 months since I have tried one of hers on, but I did so this morning.  To my astonishment, I could not even get the bra around me to fasten the clips   :icon_confused2:.  Does HRT actually cause your band size to increase?

As always, thanks so much for your feedback.

HRT will make band size increase if YOU GAIN WEIGHT.
That's where you have to be carefull.

With time, muscle loss will make the band size go down, if its stays the same
after one year, you've gained considerable weight.

I hear to often people saying I gained X while on HRT.
HRT reduces metabolism through less muscles and different way of using fats and carbs,
so you have to eat less, listen to your appetite and increase activity.

Women in general weight less than men even if they've got more fat.
So, if your weight is increasing, this is an alarm bell that you eat to much or
do not do a lot of exercise.

What should happen if you eat to your appetite (or slightly less if you want to lose weiight)
and exercise is a bit more fat on the lower section, especially on the thigh
and LOT LESS IN THE MIDDLE SECTION.

The main effect of estrogen is to remove the middle fat, if you exercise this effect will be clearer
and faster. I lost 25 pounds in 12 months on HRT with no diet, just listening to my appetite.

Kathy,

Since we about the same time frame for starting HRT (about 3.5 months), i can offer you my own situation.

The day I started HRT, I was 148.

Since then I had gone a tad up and a tad down, so today I stand still at 148.

BUT... since I have a slightly larger butt and some burgeoning boobs, I think the new fat has gone there whilst the old fat melted away from the midsection.

Around the tummy, I've lost nearly 2 inches in circumference. Not great, but it's nice.

I've been trying to eat healthier, cut down the portions and exercise. But it's not easy ditching the life of a fast-fooder, late night worker and food lover.

One thing you need to be careful about HRT is that it often causes people to put on weight; but woman have more body fat by nature so this only natural...the difference is where they carry it compared to males. Don't know how much weight you've put on, but it can cause your band size to increase.

Peace and love,

Keira, I second Renate's comment on the new pic...looking really good!
