Hello just saying hi and that at sixty I intend to finish life as I should have lived it, as a woman. I am beginning HRT and have already consulted about an orchiectomy to be done as soon as possible. I feel a huge urgency to make this change before heart disease makes it impossible. Thank you for coming to the Introductions Forum to tell other members here about yourself.
Please know that this is a very good place to come and discover what other members here have done in your situation.
I am glad that you have become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your posting with other members here on the Forums.

I am thinking that you may lots more questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.   Be aware that there are a lot of members here that can identify with your concerns and questions.

I'm sure the official welcome gang will be here soon to welcome you in.
I'm a pretty new member here myself and am just a little bit younger than you, and I'm so glad you found this place to express yourself amongst your own kind. You'll shortly find that this place is full of members that are very caring and can provide you much information and support.
I'm sure your experience here will be quite fulfilling but one word of caution this place is quite a gem and quite addictive and easy to get caught up with all the banter going on.
Like you I've waited till later in life, I was 56 before starting treatment and now I'm looking forward to a new chapter of my life that is free of dysphoria and all the bad stuff that goes along with it.
  And of course welcome to Susan dear I hope we can share experiences in the future.
