Anybody own Tieks (shoes)?

So I've heard that Tieks ballet flats are supposedly awesome shoes. Just curious if anyone owns any and what you think about them? At $175 for the basic colors they aren't cheap. Thanks for any feedback!

Judging by the lack of any responses I gather that no one owns these shoes. Or maybe I should post this in general discussion to get more exposure? Not sure if fashion/beauty questions are allowed there considering there's a dedicated category. Thanks anyways!

Have you considered that $175/per shoes may be out of the price range of some members?

Hi Virginia. The thought did cross my mind. But then again there are many of us who may once in a while splurge on occasion! Thanks for your feedback.

I suppose I could afford to pay $175 for a pair of shoes, but I've never found the need. While you see plenty in that price range, whenever I'm shopping I have no difficulty finding shoes that work for me just as well that cost much less. Fashion is very much about paying for names and labels, which is something I totally ignore.

I bought my first pair of Tieks just over a year ago. I now own 6 pair!  There are so many things I love about these shoes... the comfort, the simple classic look, the colors... I could go on.
