So I've heard that Tieks ballet flats are supposedly awesome shoes. Just curious if anyone owns any and what you think about them? At $175 for the basic colors they aren't cheap. Thanks for any feedback!

Judging by the lack of any responses I gather that no one owns these shoes. Or maybe I should post this in general discussion to get more exposure? Not sure if fashion/beauty questions are allowed there considering there's a dedicated category. Thanks anyways!

I suppose I could afford to pay $175 for a pair of shoes, but I've never found the need. While you see plenty in that price range, whenever I'm shopping I have no difficulty finding shoes that work for me just as well that cost much less. Fashion is very much about paying for names and labels, which is something I totally ignore.

I bought my first pair of Tieks just over a year ago. I now own 6 pair!  There are so many things I love about these shoes... the comfort, the simple classic look, the colors... I could go on.
