Hi everyone, I'm new to HRT and haven't started yet. As you can see my nick, don't know weather is too late for me to start. If it's ok for me, what will be best?

I'm sure you'll be fine.  You'd be about the same age I was when I started 3 years ago.  Not knowing your medical history, and just going by 83; assuming that being your birth year... I'd say you'll do fine.  I have had a wonderful experience on hormone therapy.
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Hi, LateBloomer.  I am glad that you joined us.

As Danielle and Harley said, it is never too late.  If "83" is your birth year, then you are a young whippersnapper!  I was born in 1954, and I started HRT in January 2017 at age 62.  The changes I have seen and felt in the last year and a half have been huge.  I am happy now in a way that I could not have imagined before.  And I am by no means the oldest here.

Even if 83 is your age, you should start on HRT if that is what you feel you need.  ;D

Well, I am roughly the same age as you....  @Harley Quinn and also @Latebloomer83.
I was born in 1980 and I am now 38 years old.   I started HRT 3 1/2years ago... so far, so good.

As I mentioned in my Welcome Message, there are a lot of older transitioners here that are achieving great results.

Hi, ladies I would like to check if I start HRT. What will happen to my penis? Will it reduce in size?
  •

Harley Quinn

Your testicles will shrink, your errections will become less frequent and intense (softer), eventually from lack of use (like any muscle) your penis will become somewhat smaller (but not considerably smaller).

Latebloomer83

How Long will it take for my testicles to shrink?
  •

Harley Quinn

It varies.. 3 to 6 months would be a fair estimate

Sorry if I have asked too much questions. Like let's say before errection is 7cm, will it go down to like 5 cm or smaller?

@Latebloomer83
Dear Latebloomer:
Here are some of my thoughts as it may relate to what you might expect from HRT.

As has been stated over and over here on the Forums on various posts, HRT will work uniquely in your own unique body.
What you read about other transitioning members experiences with HRT most likely will not be identical to your own experiences.

Some will experience more significant changes more quickly and then some will experience less significant changes more slowly....   it is all up to your genes and how your body reacts to the HRT.   Your doctor will  undoubtedly be looking at your frequent blood test results during your journey to determine if any alterations in the HRT regimen are needed.

The adage that you should know about regarding HRT and how it may work for various individuals  is "YMMV"  meaning that Your Mileage May Vary.

PATIENCE is definitely required.... usually not much happens very quickly with HRT... but changes will happen.  Do some reading of other transitioners posts and look at many of the posted HRT timelines and the before and after pictures. ....  they can give you a rough idea of what you MIGHT expect.

Many times the very first noticeable changes can be felt and seen within the first 2 to 6 months... breast tenderness, breast bud lumps forming under the nipples and possibly changes in body hair growth, your own body and urine smell, changes in erections becoming less intense, libido, etc.

Without a doubt this can be very "EXCITING and SCARY all at the same time."   One needs to hang on for an amazing ride.  Some of my best and most appreciated and dramatic body changes happened at about the 5 month point through the start of year #2 of my HRT journey.
Even though I was able to very successfully pass before I went full-time... when I did go full-time at the 1 1/2 year mark I have been passing 100% of the time.  Of course that is just my own personal experience, I suppose I can thank my unique body makeup and my genes for all that.

We are here to rejoice with you in the good times and to support you in the not so good times.
One more time.... PATIENCE is required.   The attitude of many people today is "I want it all and I want it now" ... that will not apply to HRT.   You might want to re-read what I just wrote so you can get a good grasp of the details that I mentioned.

I will be looking forward to your continued updates as you feel free to post them.
Wishing you well,
Danielle

No need to apologize. We've all had a million questions over the years. Danielle is correct, everyone has a slightly different reaction to hormones. If I was to take a guess, 7cm to 6cm  over a year or 2 would be a fairly conservative guess. It's really difficult to say "numbers" since we all get differing results. Like I had little breast growth, but my hair went curly. Others had more breast growth, some with more fat transfer to the hips... etc. Some girls lost libido and errections, Hormones made me horny as hell
