i am also looking at Dr Zukowski as well,

I need them to be fairly aggressive with their approach, lots of things i want to change about my face

I had FFS with Zukowski three weeks ago.  I have an FFS thread with a lot of pics.  He was very aggressive and I am so far very happy with the results.

If you're paying out of pocket the US has very expensive health care.  My understanding is some of the added cost is due to liability insurance US surgeons and hospitals need to carry.

I live in the US and had FFS in Europe 5 months ago.  Very happy with the results.
Assigned male at birth 1963.  Decided I wanted to be a girl in 1971.  Laser 2014-16, electrolysis 2015-17, HRT 7/2017, GCS 1/2018, VFS 3/2018, FFS 5/2018, Labiaplasty & BA 7/2018.

There's very little info on Dr Chaiet. He seems to be doing some PR recently, but hardly anyone has posted about having surgery with him. There's quite a few surgeons in the USA like that. Seems to be quite a growth area everyone wants to jump in. I'd guess he's quite inexperienced as these things go.

If you search for "TransSurgeriesWiki" you'll find some info on FFS surgeons.

true, its why i looking into doctor Z. he has a surgical room in his office where he does the work. i have a fairly large budget, but my ffs needs to include flights, accommodation for at least 2 weeks or soo for two people. well will try, i dont want to do this on my own. i need someone aftercare to monitor me... make me feel better.

I have heard many times that  the Facial team can be very conservative. i dont want a conservative or decisions made on the fly to the level of aggressiveness. i want the doctor to include my desires in these decisions and work around them. i cant afford revisions, so aiming for the best result i can.

thanks for that, but alas this is a one off go, so i am looking at surgeons who have done this for years and want to go with them.

i chose Zukowski over Spiegel in part because i knew Dr Z would not be conservative.  And a lot of the results i've seen from Spiegel are rather subtle.

My budget for Dr Z included:

2 bdrm suite at Staybridge 8 days (i had to family members with me so I needed the large suite) $1800
72 Hr in room nursing service $1900 (worth every penny)
Approx $200 on supplies such as gauze, hydrogen peroxide, etc.  (Dr Z provides a list of what to buy)
my airfare round trip from Wash DC..... on points
