Can laser be effective on red/light-brown facial hair?

My hair is red, and as such, eye brows and arms and legs are all light blonde so laser is worthless there. But my face is still somewhat red to light or even medium brown. Has anyone else with facial hair like this found laser to be helpful?

Yes it worked on mine, I had a mix of 80% black/brown and 20% red on my face and it worked.
