In my Passport it has some disclaimers about how I am subject to the laws of the other country while in their territory.

Some countries have very severe laws regarding LGBT people.

So here's my question:
Lets say I was flying to some country, Say, Thailand, and due to some
weather or other issue, the plane was forced to redirect to a closer country. Say a Muslim Country for instance.

Now my question is this:
Some counties have laws against CD and other forms of Trans.
If I were to be in a plane that were forced to land there, or even just in a stopover or somthing, could I be legally arrested or whatever if my gender on my ID didn't match my appearance?

I guess I was wondering if the laws of the country apply before passing through customs, or if you have to be intentionally entering.
Like if the airport was an international buffer zone or something.

Maybe this seems silly, but it is something I have wondered about.
I'm not exactly sure how international law or whatnot applies to this.

I really had no idea about this
Quotevery severe laws regarding LGBT people.

Would someone be able to irratterate for me please? Eg. Punishment and which countries have these "laws".

Also this maybe a stupid question but if your gender matched your legal documents how would they know you are trans?

USually, transit lounges, you're just confined there
and  don't have any security checks when taking next flight.
You just show your boarding pass and off you go on diferent flight.

The transit area can be quite large. Like at schipol in Amsterdam
or be the size of a closet.
