I would definitely check estrogen levels and really only base it off that. Changes happening when they do and how is so random, it's difficult to pinpoint why or how it all happens.
I think if you notice a very clear and distinct pattern for yourself then, great! Keep doing what you're doing if it works for you.
Personally, I know the immediate affect of estrogen is on my emotional state. I know if I'm off by let's say 1 mg, then it can affect my emotions for the worse.
Actually, that's if I take 1mg more than I should. But I do plan on lowering my overall dosage at some point again.
