Hey All,

I had an awesome time up in the bay area last night seeing Mazzy Star, one of my alltime favorite bands in a very rare appearance!... All of us Hope Sandoval worshipers were whipped into a frenzy!!!  :)!!! My husband is down watching spring training in Scottsdale, AZ so it was lone girl in the big city night...

Am I Jealous? Hecks yeah!!! Actually met Hope Sandoval after a Mazzy Star performance years ago at a small club before they became "Big"

She was really sweet and nice and incredibly shy

Good memories of that night  :)

VM!!! A fellow fan!!!... But... It is I who am so jealous that you got to talk to her!!!... It is funny... because she is so shy and has such a problem with stage fright, they do the show in VERY dim purple lighting... you can only make out their outlines for the most part so... even though you go to see them... You leave thinking you didn't really "SEE" them!!!  ???

They sounded incredible though and the song selections for the setlist were perfect... I believe they are only playing once more down in LA and that's it so I can now scratch seeing them off the bucket list!!!

It was a fun night, I remember standing at the back of the club and thinking "Fade into You" was an awesome song

I'd gone up just before them, then after they played there was a break for the next group to set up so we all went outside to smoke cigarettes and whatnot and we all just kinda hung out for awhile

The guitar player said he liked one of my songs and she commented that she liked it too, That made me feel good  :)

Then we all went back in to watch the next one

Yes they are in Los Angeles tomorrow night and Wednesday night.  I can't go tomorrow night (my Tuesdays are usually occupied with my club) but I'm really thinking that I will see if I can scrape up a ticket for the Wednesday show.

You should totally go Jess!!!... If you are a fan... it may be the last chance!!!... what they lacked in lighting levels they made up for with psychedelic art/animation on a big screen that was pretty cool and fit the performance well

So last week I was able to invite a few of my trans friends from around the country to attend my Tuesday night club.  We managed to fit seven of us into the photo booth.




I've started getting back into going to the hot tub again since it's been a few weeks since I got my last tattoo.

This is without makeup and filters and with my CIS roommate

I just visited San Franciso once in December 2011. I just stayed and sometimes ran in the downtown area for a week. I saw a big and long bridge to Oakland, planing to run across it, but never did, as I was busy attending meetings everyday.

A lot of street people there, certainly because of the clement climate. At the night of the last day, I could have a short cruise tour. Hope to visit again.

Came to Busan.  It gets warmer, but with severe air pollution and the disappointing summit. Waked up at 2 AM.
