Since when is applying for job news? Ok, head coaching jobs in the NFL get news for potential applicants, but an ordinary job? It's news if she gets the job, maybe, but why? How many transwomen have jobs or have gotten jobs that wasn't in the news? How many transwomen kept their jobs through and after their transistion that wasn't in the news? Enuf of her story please.

Indeed.

At that point the press is looking more and more like Weekly News of the World.

No matter what she said I do think she should be given a chance to make it and work. No one, even a public figure, deserves having her job prospects killed by a bunch of reporters who will, no doubt, go home and eat well, after scruffing about in trash bins all week.

We've had our says, but at some point one shrugs and lets it go.
