My hair just hitting my shoulders and I have a hard time styling it, so I put it in a pony tail 90% of the time. I use regular old $4 for a dozen at target elastic hair ties, and thin scrunchies. I also have a few cute hair clips that I can use instead of a tie, but is not good for working out. I find the plastic head bands too tight and give me a headache. I like the scrunching brand wide headbands because they have silicone bumps on the bottom to hold them in place.

I want to talk about products to hold your hair up in place that are not liquids or sprays....

I see that your hair is similar to my BlueStar's in length, curl, and fullness. I took her to a Claire's to pick out hair clips to hold back the hair that gets in her eyes. I aimed for "snap" or "barrette" clips that I'm familiar with. We found that the most helpful and easiest for her to use are "alligator" clips. Yes, they look like the familiar alligator clips, and they stay put really well in her hair, as well as in my long straight hair.

What do you think?
