Dietlind,
Thanks for your thoughts and concerns.
I have found that Apple cider vinegar seems to reduce acid as I no longer need a zantac every day.
Part of that solution is that I have lost 40 pounds.
Good thing to report for me is that I have an urologist appointment this week for a consult on my orchiectomy.
Getting off the spiro and loosing the poison makers will be a lifetime dream come true for me😊

Today marks day 7 on Spiro for me (woo me) honestly I don't feel or act or think any different.
I have noticed that I am constant dehydrated even if I am not peeing a lot, which leads to agonising calf cramps :/

Possibly there's nothing left to pee? Agonizing cramps probably means you need a lot more (plain) water intake. I was drinking nearly a gallon of water a day on Spiro.

This is also my 7th day on Spiro, and the only thing I feel is frequent need to urinate (it wakes me up at night, I need to go at least every 5 hours!  I always drank a lot, and have no cramps or mood change or anything, just this constant need to run to the bathroom!

Day one I think I went to the toilet 30 times haha :)
I don't drink enough as when I am work I just can't pee standing up and there's one cubicle for "men" and it's so often occupied

I feel with you!  I would not drink much either in this case!
