Mine definitely slowed down alot in addition to being a lot more sparse in growth and softer. I'm not counting on HRT to get rid of it. As soon as I can im going to get the ->-bleeped-<-ers zapped away!

I agree with this but there have been cases of that happening, it going vellus, and I'm thinking that might be what's happening or at least I hope so. Even if it was still there and was not as coarse it would be a great improvement.

Can you provide any information about this, androgen-driven hair going vellus?  I agree, anecdotally I've heard that as well, but never more than "I know someone who knew someone..."

I'm not trying to crush your hopes, I just don't want to get them up and be let down.  There would be nothing greater than not having to undergo the pain of hair removal, but I'd just be surprised if such a thing were possible.  In my own case, I started HRT last year at 20 years old, never had much hair growth, definitely not enough for a beard, maybe enough for a weird patchy goatee.  But I've still had to have every hair removed, though I can tell that hair growth did slow.  I think it may be possible that some of my hairs lightened in color, but they didn't revert to vellousness -- they just stayed coarse and palpable.

The only photographic evidence that I have ever seen of this happening was this here...

And my own self of course as the hair on my face has lightened and become much softer. ;)

Yeah I can like not shave for a week and still have like nothing visible on my face, but it doesn't feel smooth though still.  I mean, sure it's slowed and doesn't grow as dark or anything, but it's still there never the less.
