@Alaskan Danielle

Dear Danielle,

I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you've been having with your back, I do hope you're able to get an appointment sooner rather than later. I hope you are able to stay on top of the crucial things for your business and that you're being well looked after by your close friends where you live.

Thinking of you,

Sonja XOXO  :icon_bunch:

UPDATE:   Monday Morning, March 18, 2019,  9:30AM

Thank you everyone for your concern and well wishes for me regarding the injuries to my back...
...I will keep you all up to date with any future medical interventions as they become apparent.
I am in the waiting game for the doctors opinions and referrals about what to do next, if anything,
but the good news is that the pain level is very low, so that helps a lot.

I worked all weekend.... and now it is the dreaded MONDAY MORNING!!!!!   My desk is piled high and will be that way for another month ....  my part time gal comes in at noon so that will be a big help to me.

Hugs and best wishes to all of you.
Danielle

OMG, just got time to catch up on a few weeks posts, and so sorry to hear of your slip and resultant woes Danielle. Id send you a big hug but that wont help so just wishing you a speedy recovery and that you get the support that you need.  Take care and be careful as back problems are so notorious for coming back later if you dont let them heal properly.
Sending my love and best wishes to you,

Katie

Happy Equinox to you Danielle and all, here at 47 N we have a beautiful sunny morning heading back into the 70's again(unusual), the NE Chinook winds have been blowing off the Cascades.

It seems like just a few weeks ago, we were buried in snow...

Hugs

Yes, we are like +15f of normal something like that to start spring off here (odd).

Just think everyday you are gaining precious minutes of daylight there @Alaskan Danielle, it won't be long for you now...

My thoughts go to the next door barista, but in my gut, it says Shy Guy.

Hugs and smiles from a California girl

It was the chocolate heart.  I felt it was from him.
The pink lid obviously was from next door.
But the chocolate heart..........that was from somewhere else.

Sorry to say this but in Victoria over the past couple of days, High of 20 degrees C! I went for a walk today in a tank, short skirt and wedged sandals! Had to take the off the light jacket I was wearing because I was too warm! Just beautiful temps with blue sky and flowers! What a wonderful start to Spring!

To my readers and followers:

I have only lived in the home I am in now for a little over 2 years and I am already thinking of clearing out stuff and getting rid of things that I no longer want and no longer need....
....I am in the mode of De-Cluttering.

An effective method of de-cluttering is as follows:

Hold every object that you own.
If it does not bring you happiness,
                           You throw it away.

Now I am in the process of throwing out
all of the vegetables and fruit
my too-small bras, the electric and propane bill
                                the scales, mirrors, cameras
                                     and my treadmill !!!!

Hugs,
Danielle

I can understand some of that, yes I can. Mirrors though? If I had your face and smile there would be mirrors all over the house!!!!

Dear Danielle -

Sign me up for throwing away the scale! If I would be developing such scales, I would put in detection for "female" and then just plain lie about the weight. I tried that and now my scale says 150 lbs...  ;D ;D ;D (Oh wait, German Software Engineers got in trouble for that in other areas)

I hope you did only throw out old bills you have long paid! I usually keep them for two years, make sure I have an electronic copy and then throw them away. I also switched to electronic invoices for many services and just store them indefinitely.

I wish I would ever get to a point of sorting out too small bras. I sorted out a few really uncomfortable ones and recently started cleaning up my drawer of "early purchases" - all the stuff I bought before and early in my transition before I had found my style. A lot might be OK if would be 20 years younger.

Good luck with your cleanup!

Hugs,

Sarah

@davina61
Dear Davina:
I guess it depends on how big the stones are   ;) ;) ;) ;)

Certainly a mystery and obscure measurement for most Americans.
.... a stone = 14 pounds according to google.

Danielle

Decluttering is really good for one's mental health! It is a way of creating a 'fresh start'! It is good to do this at least once a year. I always find that it gives me a good feeling to give the usable stuff to others. Space to me creates a sense of lightness!
