Alright Ladies, I could use some 411 on this bit that came back from my blood workup before I start my HRT. The tests came back from the VA. Other than my blood always being at the upper limit for CO2 and low in areas like potassium, sodium and chloride, what am I looking at here with these results? I won't be able to converse with the Doctor anytime soon, so I am asking my esteemed Family for a heads up. When I intially saw these results, I was pleased as punch. Was I wrong in that celebratory gesture? A bit too premature?
Test Name Result Units Reference Range
ESTRADIOL 47.3 (High) pg/mL 7.6-42.6
TESTOSTERONE 3.89 ng/mL 1.75-7.81
TSH 4.34 mIU/ml 0.34-5.60
From the link below, it sounds like bad news or is this person not accounting for any sort of transsexual/transgender aspect?
