I don't think I will ever be able to take that Orange one! this Dilating just gets harder and harder, but I am determined. I just can't walk too well right now!

It took me about 3-4 months to be able to use the Orange one and it was slow in the beginning, but for most people from my surgeon, it took 4-5 months. It's not a race, just take it one step at a time. The green and orange looked intimidating and the first time I say the orange in person I was like OMG, that will never fit in me but I gradually built up to it.

Many of us size-up in anticipation of current or potential male partners/adventures but there is an additional factor to consider.  For health reasons it's inevitable you will need a medical exam with a speculum.  Routine annual check-ups are easier and less painful if you are able to use a dilator size equivalent to a standard clinical speculum.

This is so true. I've had several pelvic exams including one from my HRT doctor and the speculum wasn't too uncomfortable at all.

I am running behind then because Orange is the largest Dilator in my set. I am trying to accommodate the next size down which is Blue. Coming up on 11 weeks post-op. I will just keep trying then and like you said, it is not a race. Follow up appointment in 10 more days and I hope my Doc will be happy with my progress because he worked on me for 10 hours in surgery. Mine was a one step Vaginoplasty. Also, a full thickness skin graft was taken from my groin so I should be able to take these bigger dilators with no sweat. I will be so glad when I get adjusted to these big boys!

11 1/2 weeks post-op and I can finally take the Blue Dilator almost all the way in! Now I just have to get used to it! Very sore! OUCH! ♥

Sounds about right to me.  Just don't overdo it.

Hey violet, i just watched you're YouTube video on dilation, and noticed that ur srgeon and my surgeon did a very similar job, the area between the labia majora looks very similar, apart from that urs is healedband mine still looks like there was an accident hahaha. I was wondering, i cant see youre clit much, wss urs sticking out alot after surgery and then later on went more in to the opening ? Or was ur clítoris never really visible?

I'm sorry for missing your post. I can tell that I have a clit, but it must be hidden as that area is still very swollen. I have post-op pictures on my personal website that is listed in my Profile signature (they will not let me post it here in this post)
