Any tips on concealing bra straps and what not? I'm off to target for a pull on sports bra and tank top.  The danskin back close sports bra I have works great, but is too noticeable. Creates a raised uniboob. Clasps are easy to see and curved darts on outer bust form a noticeable line. Any combos or brands y'all have found work best? I've spent hours searching but keep finding the wrong thing.

Dear Jaime:
Back when I concealed...  I found that a light cotton low-support t-shirt bra worked best... smallest band and cup that you can wear...  watch the colors...  white will show through some tops, and certainly black will have it's problems too.   Stay away from fancy lace adorned bras, that will show through also.

This is such a self-affirming problem to have, the girls are growing !!!!  Happiness !
Hugs,
Danielle

@Alaskan Danielle

Thanks for the tips. I've ruled out white shirts without an undershirt in past few months. To much see through. I figured start with a pair of matching white/black/grey sports bras and tanks. Racer back with fitted or loose womens tank may work. I found some compression undershirts for men I may give a shot as well.

I have T-shirt bras, but I think I'll stay away from those for now. Clasps and buckles show. Unless I can find a seamless pull over. I quickly learned about colors, and my favorite shirts are the baggy quick dry Columbia  fishing shirts.

You're right it's a great problem to have, but scary at same time. Definitely let's you know the under radar Clock is ticking. Woke up at 530 am with girls throbbing. Owww. Struggled to get back to sleep for a bit as I have to work tonight as well.

Early on, before I was out at work, I would wear a cotton sports bra. I think they were Fruit of the Loom brand. I actually got a size too small for a little extra compression.

Dear Jaime:
Another thing that helped for me when I was concerned with concealing was to wear very loose fitting layers ...  large loose fitting T-shirt, large and loose fitting heavy material shirt, and for best concealing, patterns and mixed colors are good... and especially a shirt with vest/chest pockets....  works very well.

In the winter that all works great but in summer months you may need to alter what you do to stay a little cooler in the warmer weather.

Hugs,
Danielle

For two years in early transition I wore no wire soft cotton bralettes from Forever 21.  This is similar but mine don't have adjustable straps. They smooth you down and are invisible under a dress shirt or a baggy T shirt.

Try to find a sports bra that has straps like a tank top, and no closure.  If anyone notices it under a shirt, they will assume you are wearing a tank top.

Not long before I went full-time, I had to wear a white shirt for an event while in boy mode.  I wore that kind of sports bra in white, with a white T-shirt over it, and then the dress shirt over that.  It aroused no suspicion at all.

I definitely suffer from uni-boob with my sports bras.

Thanks everyone.

Still looking for a bralette and pull over tank style in 2x. 44 band currently. Not sure what I fill out completely alone. Somewhere around 42c/44b I think. Padded slightly 44d/dd or 42dd. Depends on brand.   Grabbed a few tanks right and loose various colors. Sleep bra racer back and a champion racer back  sports bra.

So this is me in the Hanes pullover  sleep/leisure whatever covered with a tAnk. Hope it's not to risqué and against rules.

Everyone has their favorites for style and comfort, go with what feels best. As for color, choose something that is closest to your skin color, for me that would be a beige or neutral. That color, while boring, has the least chance of being seen through your outer shirt(s).

And great news that you have grown enough that are needing to hide them, good luck,

Tia Anne
