I just realized I haven't been on it posted anything in a while. So I figured I would do an update. So far 2019 has been the best year yet lol. Surgery is around the corner in a few months out. I made a lot of life changing thing this year already. And truth be told I was strongly inspired to do so after reading the bio stories of a fantastic woman who died back in 2001. Her  name was Deora. Anyways after reading on her I knew I had to make life changes. I moved back into the city proper and started to volunteer. I'm being registered to be a big sister for big brothers big sisters and am getting some volunteer hours at animal shelter.

After a falling out at work I decided it was time to leave there too and on Friday I got a new job where I am going to keep a 40 hour work week and due to my last experience after training and if I keep doing well my newbkss said there will be a stop open for me for a management position (new store I may add). So in a nut shell I'm paying less for rent, going to be making more money and finally stopped putting off community work and am now involved.

Dysphoira? Well it's still kinda there between my times where I need to shave but it's not as bad as it was. I am still uncomfortable with whatever stubble may pop up at some time and also not happy with current formation of gentials but I am much better at not being stuck there and relaxing I only have to deal with these things here and ther. Infact unless it's shaving or I'm naked I don't even realize those things exist. I look in mirror and see me. My dysphoira has gone down I am able to sleep 8 hour nights and have done so basically everyday this year.

In short, I'm not sure the last time a year has been so good to me but im loving every moment of life these days! Hope you're all doing well too!!!!

I am so happy to read this update.  You've come such a long way, and it really is wonderful to read all the news.  Best year yet!  And, may you have many, many more!

We are all cheering for you on both the career and medical fronts.  It's good to see that the dysphoria is under control, and you are sleeping well.  And both volunteering at the animal shelter, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters!  Wow!

You are living your life!  Fully and authentically, even!

Congratulations, and hugs,
Michelle P.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Congratulations on your achievements.
I have to say there is hardly anything more rewarding than volunteering and helping fellow humans to improve their lot in life!

It sounds like everything is going your way!  Congratulations.
But now old friends they're acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day.

Good for you babe, you've come so far from the Sailormars who didn't feel she could ever transition.
