Topic creation date

Would it be possible to have the topic creation date displayed in the topic lists?  This would show whether it's a new or old topic, without having to check the first message.

It actually is, at least on my tablet. It's in the "Started by" column.

"Started by" will be shown clearly in the "Recent Comments" listing.
... along with number of posts and number of views.

I don't that column.  I only see "Started by" on the line below the topic, but no date.

I was looking for the date of the first post, without having to open the post.  I already see who started the topic.

You will find the Started By and the Start Date when you look at the post listings in  RECENT TOPICS   
You do not have to open the post to see that information on the "Recent Topics" listing.

I see a list of topics, including created by.  I see Replies, which lists the number of replies and views and I see last post, including name and date/time.  I do not see anywhere create date.

ONLY SHOWS UP in the "RECENT TOPICS" listing....

.... NOT in "Show unread posts since last visit."

We seem to be going around in circles here.  When I click on show unread posts since last visit, the page shows "Susan's Place Transgender Resources »  Recent Unread Topics".  Is there another recent unread topics?  When I read Susan's, I go to show unread posts since last visit, as I have been doing since I started here, where I see a list of topics that I haven't read yet.  Am I supposed to be somewhere else???  Even when I click on the SHOW UNREAD TOPICS button, I don't see a create date for the topics.  I only see a date/time when actually reading a message.

You are clicking the wrong button....  you need to look at the row of buttons below "Show unread replies to your posts" and below your profile picture....   
     Click the "Recent Topics" button in RED

You are clicking the wrong button....  you need to look at the row of buttons below "Show unread replies to your posts" and below your profile picture....

That is not where I normally read the messages  Why can't the date also be shown when you click on Show Unread posts since last visit?  That's the first thing you see when you go into Forums.

Hi Anne,

This part of the layout is determined by the forum software, and changing this would require software modifications.
Jessica and Alaskan Danielle suggested different ways to view the topic creation date.
