Megan.

For those who've had full-depth GRS,  once past the initial 6 months of dilation, how do you manage the practicalities of fitting dilation into your daily/weekly life and things like travel, holiday and career?

Tnx. X

Megan,
No magic answers. I realize it is important so I make the time. I had to excuse myself for some quiet time at a family get together. No one cared that I left for a bit. It is a pain to carry stuff with you but you just adjust.
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.

Tnx Moni. I have to travel on occasion for work, and enjoy it for pleasure too. This is the time I can see it being more of a nuisance. Do people set up a 'travel kit' for such occasions?

I'm only 10 weeks post and still at the 2x/day and I'm about to go visit my supportive parents.  But they don't need to know what I'm doing.  So I'll be losing 90 minutes of sleep each day.  45 at night and alarm 45 minutes early in the morning.

I'm just shy of 2 years.

My surgeon's instructions were 2-3 x per week at 6 months after (I was still going mostly daily simply for fun :-))

After 9 months she calls for 1-2 x weekly and I certainly do that. I'm neither gaining nor losing depth, I almost never use a dilator, far prefer sex toys. I don't often even use the larger ones as when either I or a partner wants to penetrate me with either many fingers or a toy with more girth, I find I open easily, so long as I'm aroused. My most recent partner was quite certain she'd be able to fist me if we chose to do so.

So basically once I got to over a year, it's been about keeping an eye on things and having sex when I'm in the mood .. if I'm not in the mood for a week, I find the time to get myself there .. I don't ever want to dilate without enjoying it, that would be painful emotionally.
