I have been a member of Susan's since late 2010, but thought it would be good idea to introduce myself (Thanks Danielle). I am a married MTF 60 years old. I started my transition back in 2010 by finally realizing my GD was not going away, in fact it was getting intense and affecting my daily functioning, I was on a path to an early death. Transition has literately saved my life. 10 years ago I was overweight, stressed out, drinking way too much, and GD was looming large in my life. In hindsight there were so many things linked to this condition, that once it was unlocked and dealt with I can't believe how blind I was. Anyway, I am in the best physical health of my adult life now, my emotional well being has never been better. My family supports me and our relationships have strengthened, because now I live in truth. I enjoy hiking, biking, listening to and playing music, and shopping !

I hope you all have a wonderful day

@CynthiaAnn
Dear Cynthia:
Thank you for following my suggestion and LINK to come here to the INTRODUCTION FORUM that I gave to in my Welcome Message on the other thread by our lovely member  @LizK  that you posted on earlier today.
Even though you have been a member here for over 8 years, your introduction posting will let more and newer members know about your arrival on Susan's Place.

Please continue to post and mutually share with others your comments and thoughts on the forums.  There is no doubt in my mind that you will have found that you can meet and befriend many like-minded members here that you can share your thoughts with.

Hugs and again, Welcome to Susan's Place...
Best wishes to you,
Danielle

Cynthia,

Thanks for sharing in the Introduction after so many years! What a story! I am 63 and I am still struggling with this. I know that I need to transition. Anyway, I also enjoy biking! I do hope that we can chat some more.

Thanks for the (re)introduction.  I agree that transition is life saving.
But now old friends they're acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day.

Good Morning and just want to say thanks so much for taking the time to write back to me here @Alaskan Danielle @MarshaJoy825 @V M and @JudiBlueEyes. I was thinking of the Crosby, Stills, and Nash tune "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" as I typed your user name here ;-) (great tune !).

I look forward to interacting with you all here in these forums.

Have a great day !

Hugs
