Just an odd question for you ladies.
I bought a bicycle last fall with the intention of getting more physical activity. I've always enjoyed going for a long ride, but that was the old me. I'm still pre-op, and I'm wondering how uncomfortable it would be to ride while tucked. Not that it stays tucked very long, with all of the shrinkage. Anyone have past experience with this?

I can't help you but it is an interesting question. Sounds uncomfortable, but since you have the bike, I'd take it out for a very short ride and see how it feels.

I know you can get bicycle saddles that have a groove to avoid pressure on the bits.  I have even seen models that come in separate versions for male and female anatomy.

Get a motorcycle that sits you upright and has no windshield/fairing. You'll get a core workout like none other. 😉

I have no issue with tucking while riding a bike. I mostly wear short pants or miniskirt in summer, and leggings in spring and fall. I usually wear a polyester bikini bottom with leggings. I sometimes do not wear underwear pants with short pants.

You may attach a bicycle saddle cushion to relieve some pain in your butts. Here some people wear a kind of baby diaper under leggings for relieving pain, and I also once did during my initial phase of biking. Nowadays I do not wear diaper. Just plain short pants or polyester bikini bottoms are enough.

Some of my photos while biking last year:

Tucking with leggings?

Depends on the saddle.

I have a soft one that has the front tilted down more than most people like.  That puts most of my weight on the cheeks of my rear end.

That said I wear skorts or leggings.

The up and down movement inevitably means it will move / not stay put.

From my experience, the only discomfort you should get might be the testes. That is, as long as the penis is soft.

I still have all my bits but hopefully soon I will have the Orchi so things may change.

I ride my bike to work almost everyday and on weekends a lot.  I don't really have to many problems and I tuck.  if I'm on a log ride or hit a certain type of bump, yes, I can feel that.  Ouch.  It has been a lot better riding after HRT and tucking than before HRT.

Hope that helps some.

Thank you for all of your answers. I went riding and had no issues. I've had an orchiectomy almost three months ago, so testicular pain is not an issue. I tucked and due to shrinkage had no problem there either. First bike ride in nearly 15 years and rode 3½ miles.

I do not tuck I just ride with bikinis, tights, and shorts on top. It works.

Biking is harder now then I remember it being.

Bike riding requires good legs muscles so if one not using those legs muscles you will feel the effects after a good ride.

I went for a ride about 4 hours after I posted initially. Bathing suit bikini under leggings seemed to work well. Thanks for the suggestion. Surprisingly, I wasn't sore at all.

Good to now that one can ride a bike again after 3 months.  That would bring me into end of May.  Nobody in their right mind will ride a bike around here at that time of the year.  That gives me time to fully heal out until fall.
