Thnx everyone. I'm excited and so is my new roommate. He's excited because he can be himself around me -- where at home, he can't really at this time. He's just starting out, so it's cool that he's going to have a place to stay where he feels comfortable.
As for a housewarming party, people in here are totally welcome, of course. But, it might be easier if you live here, but if you want to travel and visit for a while, that's fine for me. You can come to the hotel Natalie

And, no, Megan, we don't have an extra room but if you wanted to hang out on the couch, you're welcome to do so.
This move for me is going to be the easiest move I've ever done in my life. One floor down. I don't have to go out side, stick stuff into some truck or van, and then unpack it. My new roommie doesn't have much, but his uncle is going to be getting him a bed or something like that. And one of our friends is going to be giving us stuff, too. I have some of my old stuff, too.
Sadly, a lot of stuff, like my furniture, is long and gone. I used to have a lot of stuff beforehand, but I ended up moving lots and getting rid of a lot of my stuff... I once had two couches, but now I have none. It sux. I gave away a lot of my old stuff, dresser, etc, too. But, I now have people offering up stuff that they want to give us, which is cool.
I have a microwave and a new toaster, a coffee maker, and a ton of kitchen gizmos (a seed grower, a dehydrator, a slow cooker, a magic bullet, a hand mixer, and I forget what else... I'm bad for getting kitchen gizmos). A few dishes, not pots and pans (yeah, i ended up giving them out to my last roommates). I have plates, cups, and forks etc (no knives... again, gave that out). I have a bed, of course, and now a new blanket and pillow. I have a few towels.
So, yeah, an odd mix of things. LOL I've had my own apartment a few times, but these days apartments cost way too much to afford to have your own unless you're making a lot of money. Rent is going to be $590 each... ouchie! Water and heat is included, so all we have to pay for is Electrical and Internet. So, an extra $45 each, I think.
