Hello! So I've been on E in pill form for over four years and feel like I have reached my peak "maturity" of what pill form E has done to my body. I'm overall okay with the results the past four years (Okay hips, 36C chest and feminization) but after a recent Dr visit last week, I decided I wanted to change things up and try something new.

I asked to go the injections route and wanted to get some feedback here of people who have also switched and asking about how your experience was like with Estridiol Valerate. I hear injectables are easier on the liver and that is one of the main reasons why I want to switch. The other is that I'm curious about what a stronger dose will do to my body now.

I'm also a little concerned about my first injection and being overwhelmed with all that E injected into my body at once. But again, it's likely nerves trying something new, IDK.

I inject on Monday 4/8/19.

bzzzzzz. It's not a stronger dose, it's a different delivery method. Your provider is looking at your levels, not how you get there.

Diffidence

I've been on estradiol valerate now for just over 2 months. For me the switch to estradiol valerate was due to pills not being effective. I was also on patches but got tired of sticking 3 on at a time to get my levels close to where they should be. Injections have been pretty awesome so far, and I found they're not as bad as I thought they'd be to give to myself. I've even had to lower my dosage once due to my estradiol being too high. The biggest pain is that it takes forever for it to draw into the syringe.

I feel like my skin has gotten a bit softer and breast growth seems to be picking up again, although it could just be that I'm finally noticing after being on hormones for almost a year and a half total. I've also noticed many more people calling me she or ma'am, but that could also be due to getting my hair colored and getting better at hiding beard shadow.

To be completely honest, if they worked for me, I'd rather be on pills, just due to them being much less of a hassle and easier to take. Injections are so much better than being on patches however. Also, because I give myself injections on Saturday, I now call it "Staburday".

Hi,
I went from patches (first 14 months) then to IM of Estradiol Valerate for the next 6 years and 4 months. I had nice results and performed safe self injections over this time period, I got tested at least twice a year, and had my dosage dialed in perfectly. The initial change over was a bit dramatic, and smoothed out once I got my dosage fine tuned (that's why getting tested so important). I first started out at one injection per 2 weeks, that did not work out very well, I went to once per week and settled on that schedule. I however got tired of needles (never liked them), and am now back on patches, the new patches I have seem to be much better than the previous ones I used.

Best of luck

Thanks!!

Did my first injection today. No pain and felt a rush not even a half hour later.
Nurse calmed me down too.

Today was a success.
Now we wait. XD
