I think I am posting this correctly.  I am just beginning my new journey.  Three weeks ago I came out to my wife.  It was a rough night for both of us.  Though we are now past that part, and as she said, she is in love with me, the body I have neither will change that nor matter as long I as I am happy and whole.  One step at a time, together.  We do have 5 children together (blended family), whom we have not yet spoken to about this, and intend to as the transition process is well underway.  I am beyond thrilled and grateful for her acceptance and support.  I am looking forward to both learning, sharing and engaging with the community here.  I joined here, because after 41 years, I am weary of having to portray myself as someone I never was, and I just want to be me.

Congratulations, sister! It is awesome that you have such a supportive spouse. I am in a similar situation though not as many kids. Welcome to Susan's and enjoy your stay. We are here for each other.

Hi.  I went throught a similar rough night 4 months ago.  My wife has been incredible too.  We go to therapy together.  It has really made us closer!   I started HRT in April.  There is so much support here.   Welcome and good luck in the coming months.
