Doubletree By Hilton Hotel, Chicago

I've just booked a room at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Skokie/Chicago, Il. They gave the best price over Extended Stay America, Baymont Inn & Suites & Staybridge Suites. There is a Jewel Osco .3 miles/6 minute walk from the hotel and The Zukowski Center is 2.4 miles away so Dr Zukowski can come on a daily basis and check in. Has anyone stayed at the Doubletree and what was your experience? Thanks....

No experience with that hotel, but I'll say this: If you can get to a Stan's Donuts, do it!

I haven't stayed at that exact one, but I did discover a place called Eastern Style Pizza that is nearby and they make a fantastic Chicago style pizza.  So if you can get one of those delivered and like that sort of pizza, definitely try it.
