Yes selling them (I hope) at the auto jumble so they need a certificate, will just have to add some to the ticket price. £55 divided by 7. Russel the robot ,some old bulkhead lamps made into desk lamps, one uplighter made from explosion proof lamp, old inspection lamp on a base, fire extinguisher lamp and a spray gun lamp. Might make another as found a tripod in mums garage and I have an old 12 volt "power failure" lamp to go on top that looks like an old headlamp.

Call from mum, my (battery) mower won't work. Was calling in anyway and by the time I got there she had mown the lawn, not sure what she had been doing wrong but it does have an overload cut out.
 Made that tripod light and fitted switches to 2 that needed it, brought them all home for the PAT test.

Sometimes I do wonder if mum is losing the plot but then she was never any good with technical stuff! Still cant work her old flip style phone functions, menu on telly to see what's on and things like that but then she is fine with other stuff.
 Need to sort my single garage at the flat out ,well I say garage but its a catch all full of rubbish mostly. Car seat and sub that belongs to my youngest's friend that I have had stored for over 5 years and he wont pick up, recycle (skip) run then. All the stuff out of the camper, good job I have pallets to sit it on.

The PAT test guy turned up early, all good and he gave me 3 new plugs . He rated the lamps and agreed with me on prices, said good luck at the auto jumble as it should all sell. Have an idea for another lamp!

I am so very glad that your neck and back pains have subsided so that you can move
around and do some of the work that you wish to accomplish.

.... regarding your beans and other garden items...  rain and sunshine makes it possible
for everything to grow....  then the work begins with your weeding and harvesting.
No rest for the weary.

Hmmm, you had "weird dreams" last night.  That can be somewhat normal for me as well.
I am thinking that is caused by what I ate before I went to bed ?

Well a bit more RLE, had to reboil the last batch of jam as it was still runny. Looks okay now, odd bit left so going in some yogurt for pudding.
 My hot rod friend has just acquired the T roadster one of the other members has been building since 70s, he has got Dementure so his family put it up for sale. Going over in a few weeks to sort electrics and see if it will run, not sure if N will still be alive as his missis just posted on our WhatsApp that she has only just seen it!!! I posted is N on the naughty step and she posted back they both are fully in on getting Js T finished.

Usual fight to get round the supermarket, all the disabled folks were out today. Got back home and the carpark entrance was blocked with an ambulance, most likely the man in flat 9 as he is on oxygen. Not sure what he has but not good.
 Daalcha cooking at the moment, chick peas have been boiling for an hour and still rock hard so might have to use a tin. Feel knackered today, not sure why. Fell asleep after lunch and not come round properly yet.

My hot rod friend has just acquired the T roadster one of the other members has been building since 70s, he has got Dementia so his family put it up for sale. Going over in a few weeks to sort electrics and see if it will run, not sure if N will still be alive as his missis just posted on our WhatsApp that she has only just seen it!!! I posted is N on the naughty step and she posted back they both are fully in on getting Js T finished.

Not looking forward to when the kids hide my keys.  I've got spares!  They better get them all.  My three toys are finished.  As long as they get driven at least 50 miles a month they'll last.  Unless mice get into the barn.  I'd post an image for you but can't quite figure it out.  I'll have to get my son to show me.

I've seen your many many references to the Austin.  Which model is it?  Money is always the limiting factor isn't it?  Have you a priority list of tasks/projects in order of expense?  It took me almost 5 years to get my Silver Cloud reliable, rust bucket that she is.  I'll never afford to get her body restored, it would be the old adage putting £30,000 into a £20,000 car.  She is a joy to drive through.  She wears her age well and garners attention no matter where she goes.  The longest run I've given her was 3200 miles.  Without a whimper.

Does the Austin run?  MOT?

Its a 1951 A40 countryman, rare. Running gear out of a 96 Vauxhall Omega 30L v6, air ride and has the ABS from the Omega. Lots of trick bits.

I Googled it to see what they look like. NICE! I like the looks of them.

There was also a note that the Somerset engine was upgraded to 42 horsepower. WHAT?
Are they able to go uphill at all?

They were only 1200cc, first time I built it in 79 it had an MGB engine and running gear so went okay. Now it has 220hp.
 Nice day now after last night rain, should be some beans to pick now. Off down the garage to see if I can make another lamp and sort some more bits out.

Well I made that lamp, not bright enough and said to D and he gave me some used spot /ceiling lamp bulbs and fittings. Now they will be super bright, have to redo it all now. Should have sat on my perch stool doing this, bad back and neck again.
 Called in on Deb and picked yet more runner beans, looks like green bean chutney then. Now I need some more jars, it will store fine for a year. Thats some Christmas gifts sorted!!
